The value of psychometrics
When it comes to the use of psychometric instruments, the true value is not in determining one’s “type” of “colour”.
It is much more about understanding my and your drivers, preferences or beliefs. You cannot categorize people in 16 types or with 4 colours.
You can, however, help people to understand what makes them tick by paying lots of attention to the underlying principles and ideas of the various instruments. Insight in what drives the other person allows for accommodation in communication as to have more and positive impact.
