Cathalijne van Melle

Having lived and worked abroad for many years in Italy, Belgium and Russia, Cathalijne has a profound experience in working in an international context. As partner at Jonathan Warner and leadership and team development consultant and coach she helps individuals, teams and organizations unleashing their full potential and become more effective. Cathalijne (1969) has a degree in Economics (VU Amsterdam) and a master’s degree in International Economics and Relations (Johns Hopkins University Bologna).

Prior to Jonathan Warner, Cathalijne worked for various international HR consultancies like Korn Ferry Haygroup, LTP, Cubiks, Right Management, Quaestus on assignments in the area of organizational design & job evaluation, individual & team coaching, leadership assessment & management development and the transformation of organizational cultures. She also founded her own business Resilience Consulting and worked independently for many years.

It is Cathalijne’s passion to help people discover their individual talents and resilience and use these when making deliberate choices in their professional and personal lives. She is experienced in translating business needs in impactful leadership and team development programs and linking the strategic objectives of the organization to the required leadership. Together with others, she develops impactful leadership and team development programs to enable people to flourish in their (leadership) roles and build high performing teams. 

Being a Leadership and team development consultant for more than 25 years, Cathalijne easily recognizes the needs of individuals and teams she works with and translates these into tailor-made approaches. Through her constructive confrontational way of coaching and facilitation, others manage to increase their self-awareness and personal effectiveness, speak up and take real ownership of their own development and performance. She is an achiever with a strong drive for success, reliable, committed, communicative, team player, enjoys helping others to flourish. Her genuine interest in others from different cultures and strong affinity to work with people helps her to build trustworthy long-term relationships with others. She believes this world needs Secure Base Leaders. Leaders who can create a working environment based on safety, trust and respect leading to unleashing the full potential of individuals and teams.
